Clinical information
A 32-year old man
with type I f neurofibromatosis was found to have elevated LFTs during surveillance
for colorectal carcinoma. Imaging revealed multiple hepatic tumors consistent
with metastatic disease, as well as a dilated common bile duct. He underwent endoscopy,
which revealed a 2 cm mass in the ampulla. Biopsies of the ampulla were obtained.
