Clinical information
Case history: 46 year old female who noticed some swollen lymph nodes in the left lower neck but was otherwise asymptomatic. The adenopathy progressed under observation. A CT scan showed “mildly inflamed” left-sided neck lymph nodes with slightly prominent right-sided lymph nodes with a differential diagnosis provided of inflammatory adenopathy versus lymphoma. A left cervical lymph node biopsy was performed several months after her initial presentation. At about 5 months follow-up she had minimal residual adenopathy. She was supposed to return 6 months later but there is no record of a return visit.
Site of biopsy: Cervical lymph node
